Ada St. Gears Up For Outdoor Entertaining

Printer-friendly version

Chicago's Ada St. is ready for a summer filled with outdoor fun. The newly opened restaurant offers guests a cozy backyard patio with a wood-burning fireplace, an environmentally-friendly lawn, ping-pong for those with a competitive spirit, Swiss Army blankets in case it gets chilly and a playlist supplied by the restaurant's vinyl record collection.

Although the atmosphere is enough to drive in new visitors, the food and beverages are the main focus. Chef Zoe Schor prepares nightly seasonal picnic dinners exclusive to the backyard that include ingredients from the Green City Market and Chicagoland's finest growers. Diners are invited to take advantage of Ada St.'s wide slection of wines and full craft spirit bar including small batches of signature concoctions served by the pint.

Charcoal grilled dishes on holidays and special food occassions- think Fourth of July- will take center stage on Ada St's Weber Kettle. Gourmet fresh baked cookies, brownies, hand pies and cupcakes will provide a sweet ending to a fresh meal.

Backyard seating is filled on a first come, first served basis. The restaurant is open Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. - 2 a.m. and Sunday through Wednesday, 6 p.m. - 1 a.m.
