Le Meridien Chicago—Oakbrook Center Creates More Jobs
One hundred more to be exact. Debuting this month after a $25 million overhaul, the hotel in the western suburbs is happy to announce they have opened up 100 new job positions in housekeeping, engineering, culinary banquet operations as well as dining, spa and front office management. Located next to the Oakbrook Center shopping and entertainment district, the venue hosts 3,500 square feet of event space and a 3,000-square-foot ballroom and executive lounge along with 172 guest rooms and suites.
Win a Stay for Life with Radisson
In celebration of the new multi-million dollar project to refresh the hotel’s North American portfolio, Radisson has announced the “Radisson for Life” contest awarding one winner the chance to win free hotel stays for life at any property in the U.S., including up to five complimentary overnight stays per year. Now through August 17, participants can sign-up and enter the contest. As well a weekly challenge provides the chance for an additional entry by submitting a photo or video showcasing the week’s theme and adding in the official hashtag. The winner will be announced in mid-August, and look for the brand’s renovations to be fully completed by 2015.
The Langham, Chicago Launches Yoga on the Plaza
There’s one more Saturday this summer to experience the newly launched “Yoga on the Plaza” at the Langham, Chicago, sponsored by its on-site Chuan Spa & Health Club. On Saturday August 16 at 10:00 a.m. head to the outdoor area between the State and Wabash bridges to stretch out riverside. As additional bonuses, all first-time attendees will receive a complimentary weeklong trial to the fitness facilities at Chuan Spa and guests will be invited to head to the quaint outdoor restaurant Elle on the River, which will open early and offer 15% off any food item, including their delicious tacos and house-made punches.
