Hotel Lincoln wants to put a bit of fun into dull meetings. The Lincoln Park hotel is now offering “Joy of Meetings,” a program aimed to create an environment that fosters team productivity without being mind-numbingly boring.
“All my life, my dream was to come to the States,” recalls Pierre-Louis Giacotto. “It was a country that we dreamed of every day.” Though the 51-year-old grew up in Lyon, France, like many of his peers, he had visions of heading west, which was further stirred by an early interest in hospitality and hearing about an explosion of possibilities in America.
By now everyone knows that if you want the most iconic view of Chicago, you head to The Signature Room. Situated on the 95th and 96th fl oors of the John Hancock Center, you can’t get much higher above the city’s ground level, says Director of Sales and Marketing Tricia Bryant. “Our private dining rooms are more than 1,000 feet above the city. On a clear day you, can see all the way to Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan.”
Hotel Lincoln, of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, recently appointed Onal Kucuk as the new general manager of the property. Kucuk’s branding background and experience will help launch the 184-room property to the next level of community engagement and hospitality.
