Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, recently announced the addition of Hotel Arista, one of Chicagoland's leading high-end hotels, to its Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels collection.

"I am truly honored to welcome Hotel Arista to the Benchmark family and our Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels brand," said Alex Cabañas, Benchmark’s president and CEO. "The owners, the Calamos family, have created a truly special, finely tailored destination."

Hotel Arista, which opened in Sept. 2008, offers guest 20 modern-designed guestroom suites and tech-savvy amenities including tough-control lighting, complimentary WiFi, an iPod docking station, and 42-inch flat-panel HDTV. Additionally, all guestrooms offer premium bed linens, a pillow menu, and marble bathrooms.

"Hotel Arista is the premier hotel for Chicago's western suburbs," said John P. Calamos Sr., hotel owner and CEO of Calamos Property Holdings. "We are pleased to enter into this partnership with Benchmark Hospitality, which illustrates the natural evolution for this successful business. We believe the additional resources Benchmark provides will benefit our discerning clientele and our dedicated staff."

Additionally, Hotel Arista offers guests a number of dining options including SugarToad, Zorba Lounge, The Tap In Pub & Carvery, and Lavazza Espression and the Arista Spa & Salon, which is designed to meet the needs of both women and men while also offering couples’ treatment rooms.

Other hotel amenities include 15,000-square-feet of meeting and event space and The Olympus Executive Fitness Center which serves both guests of the hotel and clients within the local community.

The property is the first LEED certified hotel in Illinois and one of only six Green Seal™ certified hotels in the state. The hotel is committed to sustainable living, lodging and entertaining, using 30% less water and 21% less energy than comparable properties.

The Forbes Four Star property is located 30 minutes from downtown Chicago in the City Gate Centre business and retail complex in Naperville, Ill.

The Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre completed its $24 million renovation of the entire hotel and conference center. Renovations began in 2020.

The North Dallas conference center hotel renovation includes a full redesign of all 503 guest rooms, lobby and public areas, and food and beverage outlets. Additionally, the hotel’s 55,000-square-feet of meeting space was updated with new furnishings, technology upgrades, and the addition of a new 6,600-square-foot Lakeside Ballroom.

Anchorage is a city like none other—making it a popular choice for hosting meetings and events.

Through the tall windows of the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, meeting attendees can gaze out toward Cook Inlet, which stretches all the way to the Gulf of Alaska and toward mountains—some snow-capped—representing several ranges. They may even see an eagle fly by or see one of the 1,500 moose that are said to roam Alaska’s largest city. It’s easy to see why it’s said that Anchorage is a city like none other in the United States.

In early March, Meeting Professionals International released a statement regarding the invasion of Ukraine:

“In a show of support for the people of Ukraine, MPI will immediately suspend business with all companies in Russia. In addition, any plans to formalize a chapter in Russia will be paused….We remain concerned for the well-being of our community and our MPI members in Russia and Ukraine who were already seeking to climb out of the shadow of this pandemic and are now experiencing these unprecedented challenges.”
