• ISES Announced 2014 Espirit Awards Nominees

The International Special Events Society (ISES) announced the nominees for the 2014 ISES Espirit Awards, which honors prestigious competitors in the special events industry. Awards are designated throughout industry categories. A full list of nominees can be found here.

The ISES Espirit Awards celebrate ISES member achievements and create an opportunity to raise industry awareness. Furthermore, showcasing these best practices encourages companies to continue working hard and thinking creatively. ISES strives to improve industry standards and enforce professionalism.

Open to any ISES member in good standing, this year’s awards were for events that took place between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013. The 2014 ISES Esprit Award winners will be announced and recognized by their peers at the annual ISES Esprit Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, August 20 at The Westin Hotel, Seattle, Washington, USA.

Anchorage is a city like none other—making it a popular choice for hosting meetings and events.

Through the tall windows of the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, meeting attendees can gaze out toward Cook Inlet, which stretches all the way to the Gulf of Alaska and toward mountains—some snow-capped—representing several ranges.
