Lisle CVB Celebrates Restaurant Week

By M+E Staff

In recognition of travel and tourism’s positive economic, social and cultural impact on the area, the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau celebrates the annual National Travel & Tourism Week, with Lisle Restaurant Week!

Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host their inaugural Lisle Restaurant Week set for Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 9.  Over 17 of Lisle’s most popular restaurants will be participating by extending special offers and discounts to diners all week long.

“Lisle Restaurant Week is a wonderful opportunity to try new places and revisit some of your favorites” said Diane Homolka, executive director of Lisle Convention and Visitors Bureau. “It’s a win-win for participants and consumers.”

The theme of the 2014 National Travel and Tourism Week is the “Travel Effect,” which aligns with the current industry-wide campaign to prove the positive effects of travel. Motivating workers to use their paid time off to focus on family, relationships and personal goals has been shown to be a boon to the economy.
