VisitPITTSBURGH has developed a fun promotional campaign to get locals more involved with its “Pittsburgh. Mighty. Beautiful.” theme and tagline. The organization kicked-off the “Mighty. Beautiful.” campaign and contest at its Annual Meeting luncheon by asking attendees to think of a third word to describe the city, e.g. Mighty. Beautiful. Welcoming. Among the words being used to describe Pittsburgh were: Inspiring. Proud. Reinvented. Welcoming. Legendary. Innovative.

Global DMC Partners Members Announced as Finalists for 2017 ADMEI Awards

Global DMC Partners has announced that five of their members—BBC Destination Management, Corinthian Events, Destination Nashville, Spaintacular and The Destination Manager—are among the finalists for the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Achievement Awards. The five DMCs were nominated for awards in 11 out of 20 categories.

PALMER HOUSE HILTON ANNOUNCED AS TRIPLE WINNER AT THE HISTORIC HOTELS OF AMERICA 2014 AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

The Historic Hotels of America recently announced the 2014 Awards of Excellence winners at the Hotel Hershey. Proving victorious, Palmer House Hilton was awarded the titles of Best Historic Hotel and Hotel Historian of the Year; the latter recognized PR director, Ken Price, a 30+ year veteran of the hotel, for his unique History is Hott tour.
