Hostmark Hospitality Group to Manage Pheasant Run Resort & Spa

Saint Charles Resort, LLC, purchased The Pheasant Run Resort & Spa in St. Charles, which has been in foreclosure since 2011. It was recently announced that Hostmark Hospitality Group will manage the 473-room property and oversee a $5 million capital improvement project to rejuvenate the 250-acre resort.

Staff Updates at the Springfield, IL Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Springfield CVB is happy to announce two new hires to their marketing division.

Kristen Chenoweth was named the new digital marketing manager. Chenoweth will be responsible for the CVB’s social media marketing, website, and the SCVB customer relationship management system. Chenoweth came to the Springfield CVB from working in higher education and the pharmaceutical medical supply field.

Oak Brook Hills Resort Welcomes New Team Members

Oak Brook Hills Resort, a Chicago resort known for events and golf, announced the hire of new executive chef, Carol Buckantz, as well as conference services and banquet team members.

Oak Brook Hills Resort Hires Three New Employees

Oak Brook Hills Resort recently appointed Carol Buckantz as executive chef, where she will oversee all food and beverage operations for the resort, including their five restaurants. Buckantz plans to incorporate more farm-to-table menu items, a weekly Farmers Market to the property, and culinary classes and team building sessions for organizations.

Hans Ritten Appointed as General Manager of Silversmith Hotel

Hans Ritten recently joined the Remington Hotels family as the new general manager of Silversmith Hotel. In his new position, Ritten’s responsibilities will include improving guest satisfaction scores, managing daily operations, implementing a new food and beverage concept and overseeing Silversmith Hotel’s $12 million renovation.
