Rosemont’s MB Financial Park is booming with entertainment, dining and even a new baseball team coming in May. Now you can get your sports fix with The Draft Room, a new spot in the Kings Dining & Entertainment complex. The evolved sports-bar concept has 40 beers on draft and 14-foot, arenastyle LED HD TV, which is “the ultimate way to catch a game,” says Kings Chief Operating Officer Josh Rossmeisl.

Here guests can also find grub prepared by a from-scratch kitchen with specialties like Baja street tacos and Nashville hot chicken. There’s also a beer garden patio, plus the MVP Room that seats 40 and can be rented for private dining and events. The entire restaurant is also available for buyouts for up to 350 guests.

Each morning at 6:15 a.m., Spiaggia Director of Sales Erica Yack wakes up, drinks her coffee, walks a mile to her office at 980 N. Michigan, and works on returning hundreds of emails and voicemails (including at least 12-15 RFPs a day). But if that was the most rigorous part of her routine, it would be a quiet day for Yack, who is constantly caught in a balancing act that includes managing client demands, following up on leads, executing events and leading a small sales team at the fine-dining restaurant.
